Welcome to the Kuali Student Reporter
This blog is dedicated to providing you with information about the development of a next-generation student information system. In addition to general updates, the Reporter will also provide updates on documentation that is available on the project Web site, upcoming conference presentations about Kuali Student, and opportunities for you to participate and provide feedback to the project.
Kuali Days VIII Announced

In addition to the conference sessions, there will be pre-conference sessions, community meetings, and other networking activities.
Registration for Kuali Days VIII is now open. If you register before October 5, you will receive the discounted early registration rate.
Service Contracts and Middleware Architecture
Kuali Student service contracts are now available for review on the Web site. These contracts define the integration points between modules and the core infrastructure and between the modules themselves.
There are three classifications of service contracts for the Kuali Student System: Business Services, Infrastructure Services, and Infrastructure Interfaces. Remember: The service contracts are still under development. Do not consider these service contracts to be final!
In the Technical Information section of the KS Web site, you will find the Release 1.0 Middleware Architecture, created in July 2009.
Founders and Partners Activities
Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) officially came aboard as a Founder with Kuali Student. NPS will be sharing Founder responsibilities and authority with San Joaquin Delta College.
The University of Washington (UW), Founder, added Kuali Student to its Office of Information Management Web site earlier this month. Besides providing all of the pertinent KS information, the UW KS Web pages effectively communicate UW’s current situation and rationale for participating in the KS project.
