Packed sessions at Kuali Days VIII; Foundation launches Open Library Environment project

A record number of attendees lead to near capacity attendance at the Kuali Student sessions at Kuali Days VIII in San Antonio, Tex.

Project manager Rajiv Kaushik kicked off the day for Kuali Student with a project update, noting that the project is on schedule for Release 1 in March 2010 with a fuller scope Release 1.1 to follow.

In Kuali Foundation news, the Kuali Open Library Environment (OLE) (pronounced Oh-LAY) project was launched to develop software created specifically for the complex business management and workflow operations of academic and research libraries. Read more.
