Successful Kuali Days VIII Wraps Up

With a record-setting number of attendees, Kuali Days VIII came to an end Wednesday in San Antonio, Tex. Large audiences listened to the recent progress and on-going development of Kuali Student.

In the closing Kuali Student Roundtable session, project manager Rajiv Kaushik told attendees on Wednesday that project is the project is moving forward with the Release 1.0 planned for March 2010. Among the Kuali Student highlights:

• Milestone 1 of 5 within Release 1.0 has been completed and released to Founders and Partners.
• A demonstration video of Milestone 1 of R1 was shown to attendees and will be made available of the Kuali Student website in December.
• The March 2010 Release 1.0 will be followed by a broader scope shortly after by Release 1.1.
• Business Requirements gathering for Release 2 is already underway.
• The Kuali Student Board is reviewing methods to offer the community greater opportunities to participate and provide feedback
